Greg "Doc Hoc" Hockett (Keys, Vocals)
Doc has played professionally for 37 years, including 2 years touring
across the USA and Canada with one of the premier regional soul bands of
the late sixties-early seventies, "the Sensational Showmen." Doc also
played as a "one man band" for 12 years before he moved to the Kansas
City area in 1987, and has been in numerous bands including: "Breez", "the
Lonnie Ray Allstars", "Horizontal Mambo", "the Gotto Blues Band", "the
Automatics", "Eugene Smiley Blues Band", "Marva Whitney", "Millage
Gilbert", and his own group, "Doc Hoc and Blues Deluxe". Also a hairstylist
for 25 years, Doc is known to many as "the Musician Beautician".
